The Sex Lectures
Sex Education for modern times
What are The Sex Lectures?
The Sex Lectures are the sex education we may have always needed, where connection, choice and creativity matter. Promoting personal and erotic freedom of information, to develop the skills and knowledge needed for creating honest, self-aware & intimate connections. They started in Manchester in 2018 when sex geek Alison heard three little words in meditation and asked artist Roger Bygott to bring The Sex Lectures into being.
The Sex Lectures brings alternatives and possibilities to bounded models of a traditional understanding of ‘sex’ that constrains our capacity for creativity, connection and honesty. We want to naturalise the conversations around pleasure, trauma, healing, kink, and relationships. Practitioners in the realms of creativity & conscious sexuality share their work, visions and lived experience in 12-minute talks. It's modern sex education, a 'love job' where kindness is the currency, sharing radical, idealistic hearts, ideas and anecdotes on what could make us light up. Join us.
