Artists are an integral part of The Sex Lecs. Sara Riccardi is a modern art historian, and founder of Art Across. Sara’s work revolves around sharing art and art history in ways that are engaging, personal and relevant, outside of academic settings and to as many audiences as possible.

One of the ways Sara works is for her to use art to talk about other things - in the case of The Sex Lectures, intimacy, sexuality, and representation.

Charlotte Dale is offering a talk covering some of the biggest lessons she's learned as a sex worker and through studying to become a Sexological Bodyworker.

Charlie feels passionate about humans learning how to have the best sexual experience possible and is excited to share this with us in her talk Sex in Service; lessons from 7 years in sex work.

Kirstine is a sexological bodyworker and somatic coach who works with people of all genders at the less sexual end of the sexuality spectrum. As a neurodivergent person who has worked though much of their own societal conditioning, Kirstine hold space for their clients to do the same.

In this talk Kirstine discusses the impact hormones have on neurodivergence, particularly around menopause.

Lisa-Jane brings this topic of Autism, ADHD and Sex to The Sex Lectures after becoming increasingly aware and interested due to both personal and professional experience.

Within this context, Lisa-Jane reflects on the power of the wordless space. Lisa-Jane has worked as a sex & intimacy coach for the past 12 years, prior to this it’s all been about arts education and love.

Last year she relocated to Portugal with her husband Jean-Stephane and her daughter Ami, to create The Heart Palace, a centre for arts education and integration. Verity Harrison shares her research of women's experiences of Tantra, shedding light on what limits female pleasure and the possibility for transformation.

Jem Ayres is an extraordinary woman and a certified Sex Geek - A Sexological Bodyworker, Tantra practitioner and teacher, a workshop facilitator, public speaker and Orgasmic Embodiment coach. Healing herself rapidly from stage 4 cancer 3 years ago, with everything that worked means Jem is alive to tell her story of the healing power of orgasm through both personal and professional experience. I saw Jem come through that journey with a belief, strength and pleasure.

She has over 10 years’ experience teaching in the field of self-development through the body. She is passionate about helping people to connect with themselves through the body, fine-tuning into the subtleties of their Life Force and using Sexual Energy to fuel all areas of their life. Jem is the founder of The Empowered Womans Book Club, and the co-founder of Brighton Talks Sex.

Chanje Kunda is a poet, playwright and performance artist. Her work explores 21st century life, and aims to use art as a tool to transform lives, shift consciousness and also bring joy to an otherwise serious and stressful modern existence. She predominately works as a solo artist in performance, across the literary, theatrical and live art sectors.

How does a man in his 30’s end up talking publicly about menopause? That is the position that Lee finds himself in, on a daily basis. Yet the journey to get to this point from ignorance to awareness has been eventful. In this talk Lee shares the curiosity and adversity that started his allyship journey, and why everyone can be involved in normalising topics that have been framed as taboo.

Lee Chambers is the founder and chief psychologist at Essentialise, a Startups 100 Index inclusive wellbeing company and Male Allies UK. He is the first Black British scientist to receive the Kavli Fellowship from the National Academy of Sciences, launched Black STEM Futures in 2022, and is a board member for CMI Women. He is the current UN Women Changemaker of the Year, has spoken at Bloomberg Equality Summit and One Young World, and is the author of an upcoming book Momentum.
