July 2025

I’m back in UK for Sexological Bodywork training and TabooFest and it’s great to be back in my old home town of Hebden Bridge with Glastonbury to look forward to. Yet it was hard to leave Corfu and a really sweet spacious time after the workshops. The last night with Leena and Sumeru and sunset at Akrotiri was a wrench and I have to remember it’ll be waiting. In the meantime the house in the in the collective care of the mini-mes and guests as I make the next transition towards building more of place for long term stays and somehow make it an artists and writers residency.

Sam was here, flying in from Thessaloniki - we got a briki for Greek coffee & she made amazing salads and lost and found her phone at Soundgarden. On 5th July, we celebrated Sam’s birthday and 2 years since I signed the contract. Geez it’s been a rapid transformative time. I’m still handing over cash - mostly for water related things rather than lawyers these days - seems there’s either too much or too little. Tine and Cecelia were steady troopers in a burst pipe moment, buckets and mops agogo, while I struggled to remember where the stop cock was. I know how to make things look nice but no idea how things work. We’ve had water delivered, a heater descaled, & a new pump in the last month. Not to mention blown fuses. I know more handymen than I imagined and that’s a blessing.

The OnaRay world tour took stop here bringing Betsy Boots and Noah, so we had light language and Tantra hearts. Tex was here after playing Leonard Cohen at Soundgarden - such a joy. Anyone want to meet me in Hydra one day? And with the arrival of Lindsay, the new garden passion project move along, clearing space, painting the skip rat chair yellow and an Indian umbrella are adding to Suzie’s start. Letting Corfu seduce him with so many vantage points for beauty and freddo espresso - the taste of summer.

Being back in Uk for a few weeks gives time for catching up with friends, family, and my other realm of work which has little time for expression in Corfu so far. Oh and maybe a bit of a rest. A word I can spell though I’m not entirely sure I know how it feels. Nice idea. One day. Maybe in a field in Glastonbury. I’ll meet you there.
