“The object of our love is love itself. It is the inner light in everyone and everything. Love is a state of being.” Ram Dass

What happens when we materialise out of screens into real-life meetings? How do we connect and feel curious and safe, open and steady? How do we understand trust and safety inside ourselves alongside feeling the aliveness that connection and intimate risk brings? How do we say Yes to the presence of another and recognise a No within ourselves when needed?

“The inescapable fact is that although the exploration of one’s boundaries is inherently unsafe, there is no other way to grow.” Charles Eisenstein

Remaining open to change, excitement and newness, how do we see our value/s, and maintain our and others’ boundaries? How do we get clear, honest and courageous to be vulnerable? And above all, how do we see other humans as ourselves - hold each other’s fragility, gently encourage kindness, and connect with patience and compassion?

Allan Kaprow first coined the term happening in the Spring of 1957 at an art picnic at George Segal's farm to describe the art pieces that were going on. ... Performance art is art in which the actions of an individual or a group at a particular place and in a particular time constitute the work.

Let’s make life as art together - seeing trust as a balance of risk, safety, intimacy, distance, closeness, revelation, authenticity and being truly seen. Come and meet other humans with the same wonderings and curiosity, to connect in open public space; participating to explore these questions together beyond the words.

In our Modern Happening, we’ll be using ideas from authentic relating, intimacy coaching and live art, exploration through lenses of joy, trust and love.

You're invited to wear yellow or white. We will be.

No phones/photos during the happening. Alcohol-free event.
